We've always been proud of the diversity of work we do here in our little studio but last week we added a new category—Industrial Design. We were referred by a member of our accounting firm Ernst and Rabe to help out an inventor who designs and manufactures hand tools, and sells through some of the big box stores. He needed someone to engineer and draw up plans for manufacturers in China (There go a few more jobs) We not only modeled the prototype tool using CAD, but helped solve some of the design problems.
